About Riding on Inspiration

When I started my jewelry business in 2015, my passion was helping people create personalized gifts and jewelry through charms. This is still true today. Charms are such a meaningful way to allow customers to tell their story, mark a milestone, represent their faith, reflect on the things they love, or just for personal style.

When I received my Apple Watch as a Christmas gift in 2018, the first thing I wanted was a cute band. At that time, the standard bands were made of silicone and they would add a few new colors here and there. That was great but still blah for a girly girl that loves jewelry and a little sparkle. I knew there had to be a way to personalize the bands and add a bit of “charm”.

After searching and finding absolutely nothing in stores or online, I started brainstorming and playing around in my studio. One day I created my first watchband charm holder and as a BONUS, the charms were universal and not just for Apple watchbands but any band with a standard hole! I made adjustments here and there. I was not 100% happy with the placement of the charm on the band. I came up with the idea to add a custom hole closer to the face of the watch so that the charms would be more visible.  Finally, I listed them in my Etsy shop. They quickly became my #1 seller.

Once I saw how much people loved accessorizing their watchbands, I wanted to come up with more ideas! One day while I was making tiny beaded rings, I tried sliding one of the finished rings on my watchband and TADA, there it was, my latest watchband accessory which I named “Halo Bands”.

Most recently, I purchased my first Stainless Steel Milanese Mesh Band - they are SO comfortable. I had no idea about the wide array of beautiful colors??!!! My mind started turning and after playing around in my studio, guess what? You got it, I created a simple charm that you can quickly change out for different looks mixing and matching the bands and charms. You can even personalize or create your own one-of-a-kind charm and band with over 400 different charms and 26 band colors to choose from.

So while I still create charm jewelry and gifts, I sort of fell into custom watchbands too. I hope you enjoy browsing my shop. Please reach out with any questions!
